Mary Norton was a children’s author best known for her series of children’s books about The Borrowers. Her series of Borrowers books have been turned into a film as well as a TV series. The film Bedknobs and Broomsticks was based upon Mary Norton’s books The Magic Bed Knob and Bonfires and Broomsticks.
